AFAIK: The SUB's came in 4 & 5 string flavours, but with no case. That StingRay 5 looks more like a Sterling from those small pictures. I've had a couple of StingRay's in the past, the necks are real hunks of (usually birds-eye maple) timber, great if you like P-bass style chunky necks, not everyone likes/gets on with them though.
The 3 EQ models do give you better flexibility, but the active circuit does tend to kill any individual tone you or your setup may have. They sound like StingRay's...
Ibanez Soundgear's are good, well built basses, but they're another active "one sound fits all" type bass.
After many, many years of owning & using actives, I went back to using passives. Much better tone IMO.
