oh its definately still GAS...it may not count to other people but the GAS that keeps me going is thinking about what i want to build for myself. my current list is somewhat acoustic based though. . . top of the list would be my version of a taylor T5

Oh man... There was a LP Style in the showcase for some time. It was a flame maple with a bloodred dye with a small bit of a black burst. Talk about GAS... It was absolutely fantastic. I had it all laid out in my head... Ebony fretboard and peghead veneer...black hardware... and a set of Cold Sweats!!! Then one day it was gone. Someone else got to it before I could.

But I know the look you've got in mind, and I can picture it. It is awesome!
