just as a quick side issue, someone had a black orange pictured on here the other week, where did they get it from please...anyone?

Any orange dealer can specially order them from orange. They cost the same but you have to wait a little while for one to be made.

Methinks they got it from GAK, but you specify that you want a black one, and so it has to be made by orange first, and so takes longer to arrive

Both Pete and I got ours from GAK, but any Orange dealer can order one from the factory without upcharge. You may well have to wait a bit for one unless they happen to have one lying around (ours took about 6 weeks).

And TS, the Orange cabs are incredible. Beefy and chunky, yet totally clear and defined. They are damn heavy though, and don't have casters. I know of several Mesa owners that have changed to Orange cabs.

I'm currently using my beautiful white 4 x 12" Matamp for gigs, but I'd love to get an orange 2 x 12" for practise
