MQ cover options

Just a quickie, what are the options for the MQ cover-wise? In the shop there is chrome, gold and nickel available, but is it possible for a raw nickel cover on it? I think a dull, raw nickel cover would look pimping on my blackguard tele (yes i'm turning my back on the rawk esquire) and aesthetics are important...

I have a raw nickel MQ (along with a raw nickel Warpig), on my Explorer.
So many pickups, so little time

I asked this on another thread the other day, but the shop doesn't offer a choice of leg length for the MQ.  Are they long or short?

What's a manhattan cover? Does it have a little groove etched around it?

The groove is stamped in the cover. Groovy, eh?

Very nice, placed my order for the raw nickel covers, didn't notice they were an option in the drop down menu, I just looked at the pictures at the top of the shop.

I love waiting on new pickups, the excitement!

out of curiosity, what does the MQ look like under it's skirt? I know it's not an option and I wouldn't consider it personally, but is it an ugly beast, hence the covers?

And while I'm here, pot valus for a AIV MQ? 500k alright or would 250k be fine?

Yeah, I was wondering what an uncovered MQ would look like

500K would be "normal" for P-90 types.  I reckon it'd sound a bit dark with 250K, especially in neck position.

Groovy, thought 500k might be the norm. Just need to decide how to wire this bad boy up now, two volumes or a volume and tone... decisions decisions.
