birch cabs
« on: April 10, 2008, 01:51:48 AM »
did this team building thing the other week and we were building a shelter in a wood, there were lots of birch trees, they are so thin

so I was wondering how cabs are made, is each side made out of multiple pieces of birch glued together? or do bigger birch trees in the world exist? or something else?

ps you can use the "skin" of a birch tree as fuel to burn a load of sticks :)

I believe its a birch ply wood. Lots of thin strips running in different directions to give it strength.
