nice guitar
i have a framus cobra and got the lead channel modded for the framus dragon specs
the holy diver, the miracle man and the painkiller all worked great with the framus
but, as the dragon is dark as hell, i'd choose the painkiller
the miracle man is very much like the tone you described, but it's a very dark and focused pickup
Riff Raff, Mules, Black Dog, VHII's, Cold Sweat

Yea I definatly dont want something dark. I am trying to brighten this amp up some. Are the painkillers brighter than the nailbombs?

The Painkillers are definitely brighter. They have an upper-mid punch, whereas the Nailbombs have more of a lower-mid grind.

The thing is, BKPs have a lot more clarity and definition than anything I've come across, so with either pickup you'd have to really try hard to muddy up the sound, even with a dark sounding amp.

Lovely guitar btw mate :)

VEEEEEEEEEEEERY NICE guitar!  8) You should be proud and I don't see any reason to you don't show it in that project forum...

The laminate of the neck are which woods? Mahogany and Ziricote??

Taking use of the already exist topic:
I read someone here telling that Nailbomb in a Les Paul was to much dark... is like that?
A change for korina instead of mahogany would work or would need a Ebony board too?
Thank you!

Thanks guysfor compliments.  For the neck laminates I used flamed maple, cherry(believe it or not one of my favorite woods) ziricote and dyed black veneers.
