Piledriver set
« on: October 03, 2008, 02:13:15 AM »
Just finished up my Warmoth Tele and went with the PileDriver tele set.  I have a MM and Mule installed in my Warmoth LP and knew I was getting a super high quality pickup, but I was still blown away by the way the PileDriver set sounded.

Super tight at full gain but still had that tele tone on the clean channel or with a bit of volume rolled off on the gain channel.

It's weird, we never really conversed about what directions our build were going in but they came out VERY similar.

That's absolutely superb - the perfect Tele, if you ask me.

Did you get everything from Warmoth?  I love the front PUP mounting... did you get that from Warmoth too?

Stunning.  I want it.

Mark.

I got everything from Warmoth except the neck pickup mount ring and the Pickups.  This is my third Warmoth build and each one has gotten better (ie...I did screw up as much!)
