D tuna problem
« on: August 13, 2008, 01:49:34 PM »
Hey guys I got D Tuna through this morning and installed it on my Carvin DC135. Now, when it's 'out' it's tuned to D pefectly. Now when I push it 'in' and use the fine tuning screw on the D Tuna to tune it to E, I can't pull the D tuna out. The fine tuning screw is gripping the locking screw too much and I can't pull it out at all.

Has anyone come across this before?

Is there a way to fix it?

I got mine from a guy on Ebay. £19 including postage.

Managed to sort the problem out, just used the other locking screw and works fine now. Unfortunatly, to keep the trem stable I've had to tape two 1p coins together and stick it between the trem block and body. Works if I don't dive etc. Can't wait to get a Tremol No.

There used to me a manual for the Dtuna on the Peavey website

It can be a little bigger to get operating at first
