Newbie Les Paul Bridge Pickup Advice

From the description, the Nailbomb sounds a little bit too over the top.  Does anyone have experience of one in a Les Paul?

Hi there!

I recently swapped my Burstbucker Pros for a set of Nailbombs. I needed a little more low end, and boy did I get it. I find the NBs are very much darker and bassy than the Burstbuckers. Some times itīs even a little too much for my liking. I also find that some high end zing and crunch has been traded out for this massive bottom, although I switched to 500K pots. Could be just because all of a sudden the bass is so much more pronounced. Donīt know.
But all in all Iīm very satisfied with the NBs and recommend them all the way. Just be prepared to get more than you wished for when installing them in a Les Paul. 8)

Just dropped some NBs in my R9. I ordered 4 conductor/got 2, so into the R9 they went because I HAD to try them. Wow. Very nice stuff. I think they are staying there, which is saying a lot since I change pups all the time.
