Not what I needed to see!!

After spending the best part of the last two months slaving away with simple sweep picking (at 80BPM!) and painfully slow legato work trying to become a better guitarist i come across this.

Damn you lord i've been playing guitar longer than this girls been alive!

The girl can play but come on, shes NOT EVEN IN THE SAME CLASS as Wolfgang. Has she ever played before 30,000+ fans?? NO! While she is a fairly good player, she will NEVER be a pro. Certainly she will NEVER be in a group as world famous as Van Halen. I read Wolfgang gets 60,000 CASH per show. This girl will probably never make that her entire career. I hate to sound blunt but thats the facts. There are a TON of other 15 year olds out there as good and even better than she is.

Keep trying, legato is hard and It took me two years to get mine up to speed but i still can't do it like Satch and probably never will but you can get better! I don't do sweeps really, I've tried them for a while so I couldn't say but it seems to me its syncronising. In legato there is a lot of subtleties involved esp' with the pull offs. Try them with hammer ons over frets 5678 on each string, over and over. Best thing is don't give up keep having a go each time you pick up the guitar, you don't have to spend the entire practise on it though to keep it fun!

Bahaha, It's probably your typical old youtube blues man with masses of vintage fender stuff who can just about play along with the songs he's still clinging onto from the 50's who's jealous that a little girl destroys him.
