Can't seem to find these anywhere in 16ohm, does anyone know if they exist?

Cheers

No they just come in 8Ohm. I tried finding some 16ohm G12K's but ending up getting the 8 Ohms. On celestion it says they only come in 8.

Ass

I wanted to put them in my 4x12 but that means id only realistically be able to run the amp at 8oms!

is running at 8ohms a problem for you?

could run just two G12K100s wired in series for 16ohms - you will get a detuned cab effect with the empty two speaker holes.

I recently asked Celestion about this, and they told me that the only 16ohm versions they did were the Orange PPC1x12 cabinet speakers (also G12K, but 16 ohm!). So unless you want to pay massively over the odds and buy the orange cab just for the speaker, I'd suggest a rethink like HTH suggested!

They're great speakers, by the way :)

You could search out on ebay for G12H100 in 16ohm - which are not hot 100s (they are G12T100) but the precursor to the G12K100.  They sound exactly the same and often go cheap on ebay.

I can't verify whether or not they sound exactly the same, but the G12H100s I had didn't sound anything like my K12-100s! Obviously this would require the same amp and cab to really test in practice, as the amps I used were very different, which is a major caveat with my statement!

Oops I meant to say 'almost exactly the same'.  They are essentially the same speaker - a G12T75 frame with a H magnet.  The difference is that the K has a tad more low end.
