Yes, when the cap is attached to the in-post of the volume pot, it's modern.

Cool...hate to dig this up again...but is there any noticable dif between mod and vintage wiring IE to tone other than how the pots work

I like vintage wiring where the tone cap is connected to the volume pot's wiper (middle lug). I feel it gives a bigger and more 'open' tone.
Try both ways and decide for yourself.
