Anyone tried the Nick Greer Gold Nugget pedal
« on: September 19, 2005, 06:10:41 PM »
Hi All,

I was searching the net during lunch looking at a bunch of od/distortion pedals.  I am going to try out the Big D like TO suggested for sure...but I do want to try out others to compare.  This one caught my eye.  Its a distortion/boost pedal.
I cant find any reviews online, so I figured i'd see if anyone on here could help.

I'm going to email Nick himself to see if he could assist too.  thanks

Those are interesting looking pedals, but I've never heard of them.

I know....

The other reviews are good for his other pedals.
Also he is only like 23 yrs old....lol

I am sending him a email now to see if he could describe the sound
of the pedal to me or maybe send some sound clips.

I got a fast email back...lol....seems the Gold Nugget is one of the highest gain pedals that they make currently.
He says it is a pedal that can do most anything from a hard rock sound to some metal sounds.  The output of the guitar and/or any pedals coming before the Gold Nugget will determine how high gain the pedal is.

I bet it would sound great with a Pig driving it...haha
