only thing i have changed on my valveking is the speaker to a V30. It changed the tone alot and I am still not sure if it was for the better to my ears at least. Anyway, thats another topic and its an amp I really dont plan on keeping forever.

By no means the MM is a very snappy pickup but what i meant is that despite its dark tone it doesnt lose edge and percussion on the attack. Its that edge the highs give it that i like. I also love the fact the fat strings sound so tight and deep.

one thing that all neck bkp's really impressed me is that they never get muddy even doing palm muted rhythms on the neck position
I never experienced something like this before bkp's
Riff Raff, Mules, Black Dog, VHII's, Cold Sweat
