my dad has one, is happy with it but to me it sounds fizzy and really sucky. Though I'm comparing it to my rig of home made analogue pedals, a tube amp and bkps... Worth a try in the flesh i suppose.

Line 6 has some great products, but the Spider amps are not among them. If you're looking for a small modeling practice amp, I'd personally be more interested in the new Peavey Vypyr line. I haven't gotten to use one in person, but based on clips and what I've heard from people, they seem pretty decent.

If you're after a small modelling practice amp then the Roland Cube RX may be worth a look. I've recently bought 1 myself and really like it so far.
Selling lots of gear, enquire within!......

Not tried it - I did however try their valve/modelling amp and wasn't impressed with that.
I think I hate being indecisive.

Have played Line 6 dont like them because they have all these lame presets, and the sound just dosent have it. I prefer tube amps, but even the Bogner which is tube still wasnt nearly as good as my orange TT or other things I tried

Yeah but people, you're missing the point, we're talking about the Spider Jam here, it's the Jam that makes it interesting, not the spider :p

i like the idea of the amp as it has a looper and built in tracks to jam to. im not too sure about how the amp sounds though? with the gdec theres so many effects/amp types etc etc it takes forever to get it sounding right, as every  drum loop has a pre set effect/amp type. and it sounds cr@ppy to be honest! just wondering if the line6 sounds better? its either that or go for a small tube amp? i wouldnt mind having a go at building one? are the home build kits any good? im thinking the jam might be more fun with the looper and beats built in? guess ill have to go try one and see how it goes! :D
