Make the best fretboard ever?



I'm having an 8 made by Conklin as some of you may know and I asked for a Purpleheart fretboard when I first ordered it, just re-emailed him asking if he can make that a figured one + see if he can find some that bright, I'd love to have that actual piece, purty!

Mmmm, i love purpleheart! Shame my tools don't! Interesting fact: when purpleheart is first cut, it is grey, but as it oxidizes/ reacts to the sunlight, it turns more purple :)
