Using MT-2 to boost?

Anyone know how good a modded(probably monte allum) MT-2 will sound when used as a boost (IE gain = 0, volume = UP) in front of a bugera 6262?
Would it even come close to a bodenhamer modded TS pedal?

I use my MT-2 to boost when set to gain at 0, but I have a monte allums sustania modded MT-2, which is designed to be a boost when set to gain at 0, I wouldn't want to use a stock pedal for it.

Cool, that's the mod I'm thinking of getting, how much different does it make the MT-2 sound?
