I paid £40 for a s/h squire affinity strat from a mate of my nephew. Pickups probably shitee but I bought it as a kind
of travel guitar so it's never been plugged in. Gave the frets a good polish, changed strings & sorted intonation.
Apart from the frets being a little low for my liking, it plays great & stays in tune better than my US strat!
