Hey guys, new member here looking for help choosing a pickup.

Hi, I'm Johan and I'm from Sweden.

I have a basswood Ibanez RG 2620 with an Edge tremolo system, an H-H pickup configuration (with a 5-way switch) that I want to change the bridge pickup of.  :)

What I want is a good , crunchy-y rhytm tone for heavy metal and thrash metal (a bit like the sound Dave Mustaine used on the Megadeth album Rust In Peace) but also want to be able to get a great clean sound out if it by putting the pup-switch in paralell. A decent "singing" lead tone would be nice too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rh56qAA72SU I really like Adrian Smiths tone at 3:15 and that's in the ballpark of what I'm looking for (less treble though maybe). I am really into that "guitarwank" stuff aswell, like Satch, Vinnie Moore, Steve Vai, Eric Johnson etc.

I look forward to seeing what you recommend and especially if you make any sense out of my post .  :)

Thanks.  :D

I find my Nailbomb very megadeth-ish and it also has not too much treble
