Nailbomb calibrated set with 4 conductor wire for the coil split, or Nailbomb with a more bluesy neck pickup

I completely agree.  I have a set in a PRS McCarty Korina and it's my main gigging guitar for rock/metal covers.  I think they'd suit you perfectly  :)

thanks for the advice everyone, after listening to the sound clips, its gonna be miracleman calibrated set.i,m suprised by my choice as i dont normally like ceramic magnets, but these babys blew me away,by the time i,ve finished modding, coil split, phasing, etc i think i might just of found the answer to my tonal dreams, the stock tremonti pickups on my prs don,t really do it for me i find them a little muddy, lacking the range and depth of delivery i need, and a prs modern eagle  (my dream machine) is beyond my budget,so lets hope i,m making the right choice :)

Honestly I think the CS set would be a much better choice. The CS bridge is extremely versatile and can nail everything from classic rock tone, to great clean tone,  to downtuned metal all the while staying very tight and organic sounding. The MM is a lot like a much more organic EMG 81 IMO and won't do as much on the non metal side of the spectrum as the CS will.

i know what you mean :). based on thousands of posts read and clips heard, BUT 0 BPK experience though - you should listen to the guys and go for CS. plus i've read it goes great with mahogany body guitars, which i believe Tremonti se is.

you just cannot not enjoy a cold sweat if you like the miracle man
it has every quality of the miracle man, but it's just more versatile, warmer, more crunchy on the center mids instead of low mids only, smoother on the treble, better clean tone
doesn't have the huge bass boost of the miracle man, but it's still punchy as hell
Riff Raff, Mules, Black Dog, VHII's, Cold Sweat

I'm jumping in late, but I wanna throw in a vote for Crawlers.  I've got some in my LP, with coil tapping set up, and they're versatile.  I remember one of the BKP guys mentioned that they sell a lot of Crawlers to working guitarists who need versatility and quality in their guitar tone -- darned if I can remember who or when now, though!
