This looks pretty useful, I recall someone not knowing where to find minibucker rings at one point? And there's a conversion ring for single coils too...awesome!

Metal Mounting rings are SO cool-
-I have a problem using plastic rings any more-
they look bloody cheap, and cr@p down most any gourmet axe a few clicks on the "qual-ometer"...
-when I look at that little bur, or lack of one, where it was broken off the sprue of 20-50 others all squirted into existance at once, I cringe...
like the guitar plectrum industry-some ridiculous profit in these items!

-some exceptions are figured celluloid-also synthetic,
but just nicer than cast plast...
-and gretsch-type clear w/metallic flakes, special stuff
Metal is my favorite-
Hardwood is also tasteful, but more vulnerable to abuse-

-after chasing that link to allparts, I think I can justify making my own from here on, unless it's '3D', ie. LP tall/arched for a standard  design like the Paul-no point in reinventing the wheel  for this stuff.

Looking at parts is dangerous- one naturally starts reverse engineering bizarre guitars for the sake of trying new things-"DON"T THEY ? ! "

Yeah as soon as I saw those I thought of my SG. That website's like some deadly yet beautiful siren, if you stray too close you'll end up skint. And only "sorta" happy because your mind'll be on the next "guitar rodding" session anyhow.
