It's got to be better than that poxy Richwood i bought off ebay whilst stoned!  :?  That thing is wank! I just hope a huge pimp job will do it some good.

I wasn't that caned but the page did haveasome seriously misleading information. something like the quality of these are superb we can't actually fault them ect. It's shite! The pickups. Well they are just terrible nd the p/u selecter switcdoesn't work. I know I'm going to pimp it but if your a beginner you would think its ok. I should have the dough now to do it up so I'll see what John says.

I have a Richwood which I fixed up.  I had to change a lot of things on it!  The basic wood is ok, but all the electronics and metal parts are cr@p.  I had to rout the body to fit a decent pickup selector.  All their wire is tiny cheap stuff.  After I did it, I like the guitar, but it was a lot of work.  If I had to take it to a luthier to do, I think it would cost me a lot.  I am lucky in that I could do it myself.
So many pickups, so little time

I always try to avoid Music Ground when I'm in Leeds, they do tend to charge that little (?) bit more than anyone else. Although the last time I was in there, I did see one guitar that I really, really wanted, just couldn't afford their asking price!

Anyway, the PRS SE's are generally pretty darn good, the Soapbar I had came straight out of the box and into my grubby mitts, it was perfectly set up, only needed a minor tune up. I was well impressed with it. THink of a cross between an SG and a singlecut LP Junior, with a PRS vibe.

To be honest, I'd have my reservations about handing my money over to somebody who won't let me try the guitar out first. That sounds shady and dishonest to say the least.
