I just got off the phone with tim and to be honest I'm absolutely delighted at the moment. last monday I ordered a set of bkp92 pickups with chrome covers to put into my squier tele custom II. when I spoke to tim at the time he told me he'd expect them to be sent out roughly at the end of the week. by thursday I had a note through the door from royal mail telling me they'd attempted to deliver an item but nobody was available to sign for it, so on saturday I went to the sorting office and picked up my package, which turned out to be the pickups - a bit of a surprise, considering I wasn't expecting delivery at all until around today.
I got back, opened the package up and found that I'd been supplied with a set of bkp92s with cream covers instead of chrome. I phoned up just in case anyone was in, but I got the answerphone so I left a short message and decided to leave it until today. this is where it gets even better. speaking to tim just now, I told him about the apparent mix-up and he explained that they were still waiting for the chrome covers to arrive, so he'd sent me the pickups with cream covers "to get started" and I'd receive the chrome covers through the post as soon as he gets them.
so to sum up: I've received my pickups quicker than you'd get anything off any other site without paying extra for express delivery, and instead of making me wait for the right covers to arrive in stock (which I would've been perfectly happy to do anyway) they sent me the pickups with different covers and will send me the covers I requested as soon as they become available at no extra cost. top marks bkp!
