Theres a dude selling a laney GH100 in the seconds out forum for about 300quid. Not the same boat as a 5150 but still a mean amp. I have an older model laney AOR100 and with a good pedal in front it can cover a good range of tones, get a more "modern" tone out of it using my ibanez supermetal pedal in front
But yeah would definately recommend a 5150 if you can find one. People say theyre not versatile, but i find it can cover every style i need to play with mine (just various styles of metal that is :lol:)
