New Guitar

I got a new Guitar today! It's a Schecter Blackjack.  Only cost $550! Absolutely gorgeous finish and color scheme.

Specs:
24 frets
Mahogany Body
Grover Tuners
Seymour Duncan Humbuckers
Thru Body Bridge

The Seymour Duncan pickups are soo quiet. Even with my distortion pedal turned up all the way it is hard to get a distorted tone from them. They are the polar opposites of my Nailbombs. Other than that the guitar is very good. The Action is not too bad but I haven't had the time to set it correctly. The intonation is spot on and the controls are simple and easy to use. Switching from full treble to full bass on the selector switch has nary an effect on the tone, but it sounds best full one way or the other. Although the guitar is awesome, the pickups leave something to be desired. I hope to soon replace them with BKP's, although I am not sure what to purchase. Hopefully mules are good with Mahogany. Overall an excellent guitar for the price. As good or better than a similar Les Paul.

hey thats pretty kool! the shape is original whilst not being silly aswell - a very novel quality for modern guitars. Avenged sevenfold use Schecter - can't be bad; they are very good guitar players. (IMHO the best modern metal players around actually)

Thanx for the feedback. My computer didn't let me post a pic on the first post the first time. I'll see what I can do about the clips. No promises tho!
