New tube day.

I just spent some serious coin to bring out the best in my 65 Amps London 18. I am replacing all of the tubes with NOS Telefunken tubes from the '50's. I will only comment on the difference after I properly bias the amp.

I am totally stoked!

Ah, the Telefunkens are great, and should last you a long time. You're gonna be in sore straits when they finally die, tho. PDT_008

BTW, the new Tung Sols will get you very close to the sound of the the Telefunkens.

The amp does sound great. I started using tube dampeners on all the tubes in this amp too; lot's of creaminess coming out of this 18 watter now.
