Hi,

I've just recorded a quick test of my new set up.  I've done away with a amp head altogether & I'm running my Boss GT6 FX pedal straight in to a VHT power amp.  The guitar is a BC Rich Mockingbird NJ Classic with a Cold Sweat set.  This clip is on the bridge pickup.

This is the sound as it was recorded.  There's no post production.  As you can hear the sound needs a little work, but it's getting there  :D

the dist sound is quite woohly, needs more presence or treble. But the playing is fine.

How do you like the Boss GT-6?
Nothing is worth overdoing

This is intriguing. I have a GT8 and am in need of an amp.
"Would you like some lemon oil?"
"Oh, no thanks, I don't eat fruit."
