That Ibanez bridge looks like it is recessed into the body; unfortunately routing the top is one of things that have been ruled out by the bloody awkward customer other wise I could have used any bloody bridge.

The cheek!

I have been a right pain on this though - bobs been a saint putting up with it!

Anyhow, thanks for the suggestions chaps, but I'm going for the Hannes.

you wouldn't use the meat knife on crusty bread but, equally, the serrated knife and straight edge knife aren't going to go through raw meat as quickly

I dont wanna, thats whats wrong with it :P

Besides I've quite thoroughly warmed to the idea of the Hannes now. I thought it had some good ideas behind it, and thought that it looked like it might be well excecuted, wasnt too sure because it was all hype-speak in the articles, and you dont know if people endorsing it were paid to or got free stuff or are after different things that you or whatever - but bob agrees that its got some good ideas behind it and in the design (enough that he was gonna get one to try it out anyway), and I cant find anything I like more. The kahler and the speedloader fixed are pretty good, but I want to give this independent string coupling thing a whirl now. Sure its not gonna work miracles - I mean it connects to a neck and body that dont decouple each string, but it might have some effect, and it looks really, really comfortable for palm muting :D
