recording studios
« on: March 26, 2009, 11:07:32 PM »
so my band is based in london.
pretty soon we'll be doing our debut LP.
until now we've used a friends home studio, which is good, but unpredictable as to what quality the final product will be like.

anybody got any suggestions on a good spot for a hardcore band.

got to strike a good balance between cost & facilities.
cheers!

If you or anyone else ever wants free recording give me a shout on facebook/msn and come to Birmingham.
We've got some really decent recording gear and a whole load of sound engineering students eager to please!
LOVING the Mules!

We did a few tracks at a place in Reading a while back, we were pretty happy with the results. Our contact was Umair at Keynote studios.

We're looking at recording again now with the new vocalist, and we'll be looking at that, alongside another couple of potential leads we have.

these look awesome but probably outside our price range. we have some funds saved up, dont get me wrong, but something closer to home would be cool, just for the freedom of being able to work on stuff without travelling or worrying about getting everything done in a set amount of time.

i found a couple of places online while i was on night shift tonight. so im gonna go check them out when i can!

more suggestions are welcome
