My recording of GnR - Welcome to the Jungle (klipp)
« on: April 16, 2009, 08:46:03 PM »
Didn't want to put this in the Players area, as the guitar was a stock LP, so no BKPs on this one, but i quite like the sound :) (if it's still in the wrong place, then my apologies are given)
Amp was the Superlead modded Klipp, no pedals. Cab was an open-backed 2x12 with Eminence Governors. Recorded with a condenser mic about a foot from the speaker pretty much dead centre. Very mild EQ and slight reverb applied in ProTools. The backing track was linked to on here by someone a few weeks ago, but i forget where :)

Edit: it's only about 1:20 long, and the playing isn't quite stellar, but it'll do for now!

Think the guitars are a little "thin", beside it sounds good!

I keep thinking the guitar sounds a bit quiet but it sounds about right.

Good clip Oli :)
