Nope, looks horrible as well!

I dont reckon an all maple guitar would be for me but I want to at least give it a go if I can find one, I think they look good anyway :) Will be going PMT some time to have a go on some.

I think they look great.  But hugely expensive, which goes against the whole concept of those old Epiphones.

I think they look great.  But hugely expensive, which goes against the whole concept of those old Epiphones.

Yeah, close to five thousand dollars is definitely not what I'm thinking when I think Epiphone. Plus, I'm sure I could get something handmade to my specs for less.
I'm sure the Raw Power will be a huge contrast to the original mahogany slabs sound-wise (I'm sure they'll remain just as heavy). I think very bright with an extremely tight bass. It would need some dark pickups for sure...

Never been a huge fan of how those Yamaha SGs look, they're too chunky and weird looking.
