I'd like to know exactly how they're working the 'tube mix' part of the circuit - pictures of the guts if you please  :D

Oh yes,i'm interested too  but i didn't open it yet. I could have to wait until the loop problem is resolved.I just sent a Email to Egnater about it.What i can tell you is that it's working well and this Rebel is CRAZY FUN to play  PDT_003 !I couldn't stop tonight  :guitar4: Fun,fun, fun  :D      PS:HTH,do you know if my Marshall 4x12 is 16 Ohms ?I used the 8 Ohms plug but it sounded fantastic !

about the loop:
see if there is a marker drawn "m" on the serial number patch on the back of the amp.
if there is no "m" than the amp is a pre fx loop mod model.
email egnater about it and they will send you the components required for the mod + instructions (I think it's just a couple of resistors).

Thanks! That's what i thought.I checked the serial number and, indeed, there is no "m"  :( It's one of the early models. Is it a mod i can do myself? If i remember correctly,it's only to lower the loop's gain.

I've never done the mod but from what I heard you have to be able to do really delicate soldering work when changing the components. If you are ok with that than I guess you can do it yourself.

You're right. You have to swap two components (resistors) on the printed circuit board .But no need for other components.Very simple mod but you need the right tools.
