Fookin' ell! YouTube / Nailbomb content...

Serious props to this guy, is this someone from on here? Even though it's the same backing riff over and over for the entire video, I seriously couldn't peel my eyes and ears away from it. Comedy ending too.

Really does show off a set of Nailbombs to the fullest extent of shredness. Bravo to this dude.  :o

Just had a look at some of the other videos he's posted.
He's a decent player

I was impressed too. He plays fast for sure but keeps it melodic. I should think he'll do well and good luck to him.

Yeah, I think that videos been mentioned on here before.

Before seeing that video I was certain Nailbombs wouldn't work in a Les Paul but... I guess I was wrong.

Didn't he get some offer from some band through his youtube videos? and move cities to join... at least that's what my memory is telling me.

The playing sounds very Zakk like to me, with a little extra something. Not actually that keen on it :?

I enjoy the sound though, don't know how it would sit in a band though

The playing is great, but not that keen on the tone. Lack of some bite and presence to me.

don't know how it would sit in a band though

Yeah not sure if this will cut the mix enough...

I have no idea how I got a few compliments on this board and this guy is having trouble with you dudes.

He absolutely smokes on the guitar ! this tone is nice enough, but I agree it's too....I don't know, it has that choppy Paul Gilbert quality.

(disclaimer: Paul Gilbert is an unbelievable guitarist, and I'm a fan, I'm just not fond of his tone...much like this dude)
Epiphone Les Paul Black Beauty > Cold Sweat + Mississippi Queen + Riff Raff

Some nice playing there.  Certainly way better than me (not hard).  ;)

I'm not sure YouTube videos are a great place to judge tone.  What with the questionable recording methods that may have been used, plus the lossy compression used to convert it to video in the first place which is then mushed further when YouTube convert it to FLV format when you upload it.  ;)

I do love the camera attached to headstock look though.  First saw it on the Voivod (RIP Piggy) video for Tribal Convictions back in the 80s: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TfpYIPbrcdY
