yea.. it pretty much hold them down... properly.

i can lift the whole cab with one of the speakers now if i wanted to lol.

now i just need to put some foam into it and as ben told me, put a foam strip around the front baffle, then wire it up and hit it!

Try soldiering the speaker wire directly to the tags of the speakers. In my experiance,it has more top end clarity and sizzle. There is an audiable difference, between clip on and soldiered connections. If you choose to,remember to put something that will protect the speaker from falling soldier,if you have minimal experiance.Burnt holes in the speaker dont sound so cool.I used 14 gauge car altinator wire that has a sleave around the wire(used to eliminate hum from the battery to the altinator in automobiles, that you could hear a hum when you speed up and slow down).Funny thing, monster cable makes it to

i was intending to solder the things together.

and it's done!!

no grille yet though.

it realy livened the amp up. before, i had to have realy high trebble to get a decent sound out of it.. when i plugged the cab in i was like WTF!!! i dont remember installing a beehive in there (think worse trebble sound than on kill em all)

when i brought everything down to norml levels, it's realy cool. the ibanez effect realy delivers a good punch and the gain channel of the crate is actualy useable and doesnt sound that bad (harmonics along with dynamics still suck bad)

sooo... i cant wait to get me a proper amp to plug it in and start making my room bigger LOL

Sounds cool, Davey!

Can't wait to see the finished product!! Once you get sorted with the new guitar, then you can get a good amp, and you'll be all set!!!!!!
