As we all know, few things are certain in life, and even few in terms of choosing the perfect BKP (unless you either have a lot of time, money, guitars, or are just lucky). I was fooling around with my MQ'd strat (which has a hot rails in the neck, don't judge me) and I realized that I like the added sizzle of a ceramic placement in the neck of my guitar. I also enjoy the out-of-phase sound that I got from messing with the two pickups of which one was deliberately wired incorrectly for that sound. I'm looking for something ceramic in the neck to compliment the HD in my other strat. It's darker than the other strat tonally, and I play with a light crunch far more than I do cleans (plus I have the 'diver for cleans), so they're of little concern. If there isn't a stock ceramic BKP that would go well in the neck, what about swapping out the AIV from a neck MQ for a ceramic magnet? Has anyone tried anything similar with ceramic (aside from the occasional C-Pig and C-Bomb)?
