My new Custom built Les Paul
« on: July 13, 2009, 04:52:54 AM »
Hi guys I figured I would share my joy with you here with my new guitar. It is modeled after a Les Paul Custom. It has alnico 2 pros for now. I will see how those are for a variety of styles. But I am holding on sharing tone opinions. So far I love the sound the Luthier is pretty good Its a Fischer. Anyway here it is

Whats the spec on it? I'm guessing you like the MOP/white :P

Nice guitar.

whoa
nice!
just missing the white binding on the neck (I'm not into black binding for the fretboard)

I had a standard made by luthier that now belongs to a friend:

Yea cosmetically Im not that jazzed about it. I mean it looks good but I loved the feel. I am on a trip right now and had to leave her home. The neck is actually a little slimmer 60s style I think or 59 I dont know he did. But now is the interaction part what should Its name be. A classy womans name

If it's the Custom, it's probably a 60s neck profile.

that guitar had the finest and most resonant piece of brazilian mahogany I've seen (same species as the honduran)
the imbuya top and very dark brazilian rosewood board were awesome (the fretboard was dense and black, just like ebony, the imbuya could be more figured, though)

but it had a baseball bat neck, the bridge wasn't aligned right and the strings always seemed loose :(
had some binding flaws too, but no big deal
it sounded huge
I miss it :(

I bought it for about US$250 without the hardware
it worked awesome with the miracle man set and also with the holy diver
my friend tried a painkiller in it too, but went back to the miracle man (now a cream one)

Guitars should never have names. Nor should they ever, ever be addressed as he or she. It actually makes me wince with embarrasment when people do it.
