NPD: New Pedals Day
« on: August 04, 2009, 07:43:47 PM »
Hey guys, whilst my guitar fiasco is rolling on I thought I'd pick up some pedals (for the first time EVAR) to make some quirky techno type music.

So I went ahead and bought a BOSS SL-2 Slicer Twin Pedal and a BOSS DD-3 Digital Delay Pedal, courtesy of Steve page.

Some pics once I get myself onto the laptop, but for the mean time, I'm probably going to buy a power supply for the two, but I don't need that daisy chain power supply linking cable thingy do I? I just need a power supply into one, then a normal link cable (not the power supply one) two link them up and go to my guitar from the amplifier, right?

Anyways, that's it! I might continue to get a noise supressor and other stuff and I'm keeping with BOSS pedals for now.

PICS:

"Would you like some lemon oil?"
"Oh, no thanks, I don't eat fruit."

Not sure I fully understand your post but both pedals will definitely need a power supply.

I seem to remember the slicer makes very weird noises, are you enjoying it?

I think you will need a daisy chain, from what you are saying you think you can 'slave' the second off of the first? I am not familiar with the dual pedal slicer thing, so maybe it has a 9vDC out as well?
