the guitar sounds very focused and dense for a les paul
the biggest surprise is that the bridge pup reminded more of the cold sweat than of the holy diver
it does sound like an alnico pup, but it's VERY tight and "snappy", with more mid crunch than the holy diver
if the diver was "Dirt" tone, that would be "Facelift" :D
I'd also say that it has less midrange than the diver, but that may be part of the guitar tone
the neck pup sounds like an underwound version of the bridge model, loud as frak, with less mids and a lot of treble, a bit spikey sometimes (well, it's a frakkin' nailbomb :lol:)
it's as clear as the cold sweat neck, but hotter and less smooth sounding
