london rehersal studios
« on: August 12, 2009, 01:03:19 AM »
anyone know any good ones?
ones with ok gear?

we usually go to on in central london as we are spread between stoke newington, new cross and brighton. (always 1 person has to make it extra hard).

went tonight and im tired of amps that sound like turds wrapped in cotton wool.

anywhere you know of good and none to expensive that has its own gear, and preferably doesn't charge you a premium to use it?

Check out Rooz - that's where we played at the London BKP meetup.  They had a decent set of Orange amps in their rooms from what I remember.

Yeah, Rooz is nice. I'm sure they have bigger rooms too I think I remember gwEm saying that.

rooz is good, but london has many nice rehearsal studios. have a look for one in the london bridge area i reckon - it would seem to be easy to reach for all of you. i used one there once.

Ha ha.  Best not to open Feline's link if you're in the office with your speakers still on

BTW Feline, I was flicking through Guitarist last night in bed playing the "what do you think of that" game with the missus (in a guitar sense, before any of you start) and I came across a nice black LP and shown the missus.  Even she liked it... and then I realised it was one of yours.  Very nice, if only I had more money.  Do you take wife's or kids in part exchange  :D

Anyway I think the topic is over there somewhere.  I think we should return back to it.  Sorry for the hijack.
Advice worth what you just paid for it.
