I've been listening to it on the way in to work - Philly I think you'll appreciate it, but it might be a little too country/blues/pop to be your thing entirely...

38th - you've GOT TO HAVE IT... I've just realised who this band really reminds me of, and especially on this album (hint: they're in your forum name).

Some folks won't see it at all - but there's strong hints of it in the songwriting on this album. And it made me realise that listening to the entire Black Crowes canon is the same sort of bumpy but magical ride as listening to the lovable mop-tops canon...

Had a listen to them on Spotify and they also have an element of my 2nd favourite band -The Faces.

Oh yeah, big, BIG element of that :D
But then they're also a bunch of "hippies" and go off into long "trippy" instrumentals live - fabulously done, at least when I saw them of few months back, but I did find myself wanting more of the "Faces" vibe instead....
