BKP90... here I come
« on: October 04, 2009, 09:54:34 AM »
I've ordered a set of BKP90s for a Chinese Epi Casino. What do you think???

I was tempted to order something a tad hotter....

You'll be fine.  I loved the set I had in a Les Paul Special.  Hot P90s aren't great in my opinion....

I might be being stupid here, but isn't there something about Casino P-90's being oddly sized/shaped, and one needing rewinds rather than standard p-90's, or have I been smoking mushrooms again?

The pickups in Casinos come in dogear chrome covers. That's how I ordered them from Tim.....

Knew there was something: Neck Pickups on a Casino have a weird spacing, at least the old ones did. they might have a curved base or something as well. Just don't want you to be stuck, man.

So - is Tim able to offer Dogear mounting P90s now - without rewinding an existing pickup?
