Here is a quick video I threw down tonight
Decided to try out a Korina bodied Lion guitar with a VH2 set - and put it through a Recto module in my Egnater modular setup- and it sounded great - hope I managed to capture what I heard in the room
Had a to play a few Van Halen type riffs as the sound was almost too perfect for that stuff.
I was surprised at how well the Recto module (like a Mesa Dual Rec) worked with the Korina - somehow complimenting the tone of the wood
Pulled out my Korina V with VH2s for comparison purposes - sounds a bit brighter and thinner than the LP type guitar and the finish on the guitar although very thin will play a part as well.
