Put this on hold till the new year. Its almost new year.
Firstly, I regret selling my Standard 25. Mine was maple too. I'd like a SPecial 25 too.
Anyway, my old jap strat............... Still unsure. I will phone Tim.
I have a few guitars I use right now. I have a Les Paul I rarely touch, plus 2 Maton electrics I bought when living in Australia. THey give me gritty and Rock (hence the LPS redundant) , the LP pickups were changed when I bought it. I dont like whats in it now. I have no idea what they are.
So from a Strat.............. I like the sound from Clapton and Townsend Strats. Now I realise thats player and other kit, but you get my idea.
