miracle man neck on the bridge + cheap solid state rig
« on: January 05, 2008, 01:03:55 AM »
so i gave the idea to my friend to take off the alnico miracle man neck of my ex-les paul and try it on the bridge position of his Cort Katana (all mahogany, set neck, fixed bridge)

he recorded with the same cr@ppy Wattsom 15w cube of the other clip i posted and a Zambelli Custom Effects 5150 pedal (peavey 5150 preamp with diode gain stages), cheap pc mic
i think he boosted it with a wylde overdrive clone too

the song is Lamb Of God's "Laid To Rest"
Riff Raff, Mules, Black Dog, VHII's, Cold Sweat

great clip buddy, ballsy tone and not bad harmonics! I like the tight bass this pickup produces. I bet it's transformed the guitar!
c-bomb bridge, cs neck, HD set, MM set, PK set, Alnico BH set

sounds pretty cool, go on stage and mic that rig, it will work perfect for any metal gig.
