I had tis Gibson les Paul Classic.I loved it...                                                                                                                       but in a moment of madness traded it.The following guitars came and went....                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            and finally this

The aftermath.those that remain  t.The Hamer is a complete suprise. The best of the bunch. Some I would like to have kept, the Les paul classic,SG classic,Musicman Silo(hardtail),and 73 Tele . But I'm very happy with those that are left.

Don't know why you call the SG as Les Paul, only Gibson does so...

Why not get one like the original? Reminds me of a really known blues man from Brazil, André Christovam, that tried for 18 years or so to have Eric Clapton tones on Cream albums with a Strat and Fender amps, and after playing a 335 thru a Marshall Plexi he finally discovered the tone he was looking for the last 20 years...

I have three other guitars that I've had for the last seven years, that I play occationally. I've always had a Tele, this one my wife bought for my birthday soits a keeper. The Hamer was a unexpected supprise. Its excellent,I love it and the Gibsons back to the P90s I missed so much. My Scala I've had for seven year(still have it)s,my Boogies and Hiwatt DR103 I had for seven and six years, but I was struck hard with GAS.The good thing is I know what I like.
