Tele pickups for 12 string electric guitar
« on: July 11, 2010, 12:43:53 PM »
Hello there!

I'm building a 12-string tele partscaster. Which set of pickups will be the best choise to get the sound that Bruce Springsteen has in this song:

Well there's always the Boss set which is modeled after Springsteen tones.

Thnx! BTW, what about Country Boy set? I've heard it's great for clean and slightly overdriven tones?

When I read your post I was thinking Country Boys- not because I have a set but because they have an articulate tone that would be ideal I would have thought. As you say, great for clean and slightly overdriven tones. I would expect them to work well with a 12 string guitar.
