Nailbomb in alder/maple gitar

If someone have experience of Nailmomb bridge in alder strat with maple neck?

And MQ in the neck position os same guitar...

Yep, I have this in two guitars - Warmoth strat (alder body, maple neck, macassar ebony fb) & Jackson DK2M (alder body, maple neck, maple fb).

It's by far the best wood combination for the NB IMHO.  It might sound counter-intuitive, but the NB really does sound at its best in a bright guitar - kinda allows the low end to "breathe" while the upper mids can "sizzle" a bit more.  Very brief clip here

Since I got the NB in these two guitars I've hardly used my NB-equipped LP & PRS - even though when I first got the NB in those guitars I thought it was great (which probably says more about how bad the stock pickups were :))  Actually I already changed the NBs out of the LP for a CS set...

No experience of the MQ so can't help there...
BKPs: HD, MM, NB, PK, CS, Ab (b&n); Am (b only); VHII, Tril (n only); IT, Slow, Sult (m&n)
