P90s for PRS SE Soapbar
« on: November 30, 2005, 06:05:25 PM »
I 've been really pleased with  my PRS SE Soapbar (single cut) and think it is a great guitar for the price.

Has anyone  replaced the stock P90 pickups with Bareknuckles in this type of guitar? Any opinions on which type to go for?

I'm just having my first BKPs (Crawlers) installed in a Hamer Slammer and looking forward to playing it soon.

Thanks,

Pete

I have a PRS EG (from 91), with a Crawler and 2 P-90's in it and it sounds really sweet.  I would get the P-91's (Alnico V but not overwound), and buy them as a claibrated set.  I'm sure you will love the sounds.
So many pickups, so little time

I've got Nailbombs in my Tremonti SE and it makes it sound such better so I am sure BKP P90's would make it sound much better.
