N-ish PD - scary story
« on: April 30, 2010, 10:23:53 AM »
So i got a pedal i've been wanting to try for ages, the HBE bid D.
Is turned up on monday, it is now friday, and i havent actually plugged it in yet
is this a sign that im not actually addicted to gear, or is it just that its been a long week of work and its getting colder cos im in the other hemisphere and ive just been lazy?

anyway, hopefully over the weekend i get less useless and try this pedal out, any other dudes given it a hoon? theres so many settings hopefully i can figure out what i want, and hopefully i dont just hate it.

never had such a delay in trying stuff out. hopefully its not the end of my stupid impulse purchases.

Not a pedal chap myself, but I do know how you feel. Not sure it is evidence of less addiction though.

The other week I took delivery of my new recording box. I was on holiday at the time, feet up. It took me two days to power the thing up!

(I did have a slight excuse in this case - I got a new acoustic the same day, which I was playing instead... slightly less of a learning curve involved with that particular toy )

Anyway, when you do power it up, hopefully you'll get the same satisfaction as I did out of mine :D
