Hello
I just ordered a Vintage V100 and I want to change the stock humbuckers for some Bareknuckles (The stock pickups are pretty decent but I want a diferent type of sound)
I do play some Classic Rock and some HardRock (The stooges, Mc5, NYD, Johhny Thunders, Led Zeppelin, Kiss, Motorhead, Ramones, Black Sabbath... )

What would you choose?
I'm thinking about BlackDog/VHII on the bridge and a Mule on the neck
ROCK ON!

I'm not 100% sure about this, but I think the Vintage V100 models are all mahogany with thin maple veneer tops - they don't have thick maple tops to tighten/brighten the sound like real Les Pauls.

Based on that, I'd go for something vintage and not too dark - Riff Raffs or Mules perhaps.

Welcome to the forum by the way!  :)
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

If that is the case, that there is no maple cap, just a veneer, look at Emeralds or T-Tops.
So many pickups, so little time

Black Dog!!!!! It screams Led Zeppelin, after all that's the sound it's after.
Lots of power and definition, still great sound.
Current BKPs: Miracle Man, Nailbomb, Juggernaut, VHII
Past BKPS: Holy Diver, Trilogy Suite, Sinner, Black Dog

i have a rebel yell in an all mahogany LP with maple neck. it works damn well, but not the tone you want - its more 80s hard rock.

try t-tops or riff raffs. emeralds would be good for sabbath in that axe.
